Kudo's to Oklahoma

Just got an email from an avide supporter of mine on some things going on in Oklahoma. The State Legislature has passed the following:

HB1330 - the Ten Commandments will now be at the entrance to the state capital

SB1102 - DNA samples from illegal aliens will now be added to the Oklahoma data base.

HJR1003 - Oklahoma is now a sovereign state, along with Texas. (Common Missouri - lets get with it)

And last but not least all drivers test will be in English and English only -- as they pointed out all the road signs are only in english so the driving test should be also.

So now here is the question -- why do I have to press 1 for english????

Goodnight Irene.

July 5th, the day after

I started out thinking I would make this blog be something about politics in a way that the individual who is like me - knowing it goes on but not wanting to acknowledge it - could understand. I didn't start listening to Rush Limbaugh or Glen Beck until I met and married the man of my dreams and he got me hooked. Actually his son suggest Glen Beck to him and I am the one that started listening first. That being said -- I agree with them but there are times when I just don't understand what the heck they are talking about. Now that being said, having used their names I will probably be put on a terrorist watch list.

Does anyone remember the character 'Munch" from Law & Order SVU? He was always talking about how big brother was watching us, and conspiracy theories -- I am beginning to think that he was right. How else can you explain some of this stupid stuff going on.

Right now I am thinking gloom and doom is ahead so I think I am not going to finish these thoughts. More later.

Have you seen the new Dodge Charger commercial. Says everything that needs to be said in two sentences. "Two things America got right - cars - and freedom"!!!. And with that I say - Goodnight!

July 2, 2010

I have spent my entire life setting by the way side with the common thought like others of - ignore it and it will go away - and have just recently learned that it doesn't go away. The only thing hitting the highway is our way of life. And I am so tired of President Bush getting the blame. Being scared to death of what is ahead of us as a FREE & HIGHLY RESPECTED NATION, I have just started trying to understand some things. Here is one that people need to set back and think about. The President can not do anything with out the approval of Congress. Which means those idiots that we have elected to represent us in Congress are running our lives. President Bush only had a Republican Congress for 2 of his 8 years. If in those 6 years the Democrates voted to spend it - guess what - it got spent. Simple truth. I am sick and tired of the current administration blaming everything on President Bush. And yes I voted for ALL the Bush men for President, and would again, simply because they had the backbone to kick ass over seas and take names later - no apologizing down the road, lets just get it straightened out - cause lets face it there are some pretty ugly people running other countries.

And now Pelosi is saying unemployment checks create jobs??????? Well I guess they do in a way - in my experience as a bail bondsman I have more people on bond that are making monthly payments on their bond fee with - wait for it - their unemployment checks/cards.

One thought that I want to end with is this. If a person who is on Social Security Disability gets arrested for drug possession/use/etc. shouldn't their disability be stopped?????? I would vote yes, saves that Social Security Benefit for when I need it - aaaahhhh Hope and Change at work.
